Welcome to Conservative Voice Forums. This forum was created for the purpose of bringing Conservatives of all political views together so that we may all converse, share our ideas, and learn from one another. You will find that this is a place of peace and understanding, so feel free to post anything you like. Ideas, thoughts, concerns, or even just rants are all welcomed here! But before you post anything, please read the rules outlined below:
1. Respect Others - This forum is for people of many walks of life and social structure to come together and share their ideas. If you disagree with those ideas, that is fine, but please treat other members respectfully. Debate or even outright argument can be healthy expressions and tools of learning, so don't feel like you need to walk on eggshells around each other. But if a topic degrades into name-calling and personal attacks, it will be locked or even deleted, and those guilty of such behaviors may receive a warning. Too many warnings will get you banned.
2. Cite Outside Sources - If posting information from an outside source, like another website, book, or a newspaper article, please cite your source. If the source is another website, please offer a link to that website in your post.
3. Strive for Accuracy - While we understand that, within the Conservative community, there are many topics about which people have a variety of beliefs, there are some topics, such as recorded history, that are fact. If posting about any topic, please try to verify the accuracy of your information before posting it here. We do not want to reprint misinformation if possible. This will be an ongoing effort, and we appreciate all forum members stepping in to correct misinformation when they spot it. Keep each other honest!
4. Profanity and Web-Speak - This forum is open to people of legal adult age, all over Grays Harbor County, so we would appreciate all members writing in coherent English, complete sentences, and without profanity. This means do not abbreviate or use shorthand, such as "u" in place of "you" or "r" in place of "are" etc. While it may be trendy to do in some chat rooms or other forums, it tends to confuse many people. Strive for proper English so that everyone can understand you.
Minor cursing, such as what can be heard on network TV these days, is fine if not used in excess.
5. Policing Others - Unless you are a moderator, please do not police other members of the forum. If you feel someone is in violation of the rules, or are being disrespectful or disruptive, please send a private message to the admin. They will take the appropriate action.
6. Active Membership Required - This is free forum and everyone can read here. However, if you choose to register and become a member, active participation is, to some degree, required. If a member does not post for 3 months, they will be deleted. This is simply to ensure that none of the members are using this forum as their own personal email center, or spamming and harassing the other members without adding anything useful. If you do not plan to post anything for the public to read and respond to, you have no reason to become a member since all guests can read every topic.
7. Linking to other websites and forums – This particular forums is about community and sharing information with others. Therefore, we do allow linking to various websites with helpful information
8. We have the right to delete any member at any time for any reason. - Period. This website is privately owned. Therefore if we feel you are in violation of any of the above stated rules, or we feel you are causing a disturbance on our forums, we have the right to delete and ban you at any time without any questions asked.
9. Have fun - Above all, enjoy yourself! This is a place for learning and teaching, sharing and community. We welcome you into our home and hope you find as much joy and entertainment here as we do. Thank you for participating.
